time to party

This week has been especially brutal... midterm, multiple assignments, work, home... Last week's midterm horrors pale in comparison. :) But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I promised Nalin I will play with him Saturday night (tomorrow), hit the gym on Sunday morning and a nice v-day dinner-dance at ...

V-day Dinner Party

I missed out on a wonderful networking opportunity last night. There was a mixer planned by another dude in my company for all past and current MBA students and that too 5 mins from work... but as I said, the workload this week. :(

Anyway, a couple of cool events coming up over the next week or two.

On the other front, I am going through a 360 degree feedback process right now. Let's see if my perception about myself matches with that of others around me. I chose about 24 people for the feedback which should be a good sample size.

Paani Puri Party

I knew the title would catch your attention. :) well, last night a good friend and neighbor invited us over for a paani puri party. We had intended to meet last week but somehow due to one reason or another it got postponed. So, finally we went to their house yesterday evening after work. After the initial "Hi, Hellos" etc, as we walked into the Family cum dining room, I noticed a large jug full of "Paani Puri" water. Wow!! The kids got involved in watching the "Three idiots" dvd and we all attacked the Paani Puris (or Gol Guppas) as they are called in North India. There were loads of them and wow... we ate to our hearts content. :) Our hostess had graciously kept the chilli on the lower side keeping in mind that the kids would not be able to handle it but since the kids were not eating it anyway, we ended up putting all sorts of chillies and chutneys to make it spicy. That was one fun dinner. :)
