churn @ work

Over the past 6-8 months, there has been quite a bit of churning going on at work... people I have worked with ever since I joined this company, have been leaving the team and joining a different one. The current team or whatever is left of it is being transitioned to a different platform. The work we had been doing so far is being sent over to the team in India. Last week, I came to know that my ex-boss and current 2nd line mgr is also bailing out on us and headed over to the other team. It was a pretty sad and depressing day last thursday when we came to know about the "news" even though most of us were speculating for several months that this was bound to happen sooner or later. anyways, I guess life has to go on... everyone for himself/herself....

Watched Pink Panther 2 (Aishwarya Rai, Steve martin) last week and must say that I was disappointed by Aish's performance. She looked quite plump and uncomfortable in the movie. She has done much much better in bollywood movies...

Its been raining here for the past few days... much needed rains. :)
